2025 Total Community Impact

2025 was another record-breaking year for South Bay Parkland Conservancy!

THANK YOU to all of our supporters, sponsors, volunteers and friends. More volunteers than ever contributed a clock stopping number of hours across multiple projects.

SBPC also added several more projects, including a collaboration with Gardena Willows Wetland Preserve, two pollinator gardens, and two Adopt-a-Park locations in Torrance.

Through the Educational Pollinator Initiative SBPC is reaching more communities with resources on native plants and pollinators through presentations, seminars, volunteer days, community engagement events, an annual Earth Day event, little libraries and more.

Looking forward, one focus is on developing a nursery operations program to supply CA native plants for restoration work and community gardens. The effort began in the Spring of 2025 with a Madrona Marsh Preserve Nursery relationship. We look forward to continued collaborations for additional successful growth in 2026!
