Make A Difference Day 2018

Join us at Wilderness Park on Saturday October 27 for Make A Difference Day 2018. We will be planting and enhancing native plants in the lower pond/amphitheater area. Our goal is to put over 200 plants in the ground to to further establish a coastal sage scrub habitat for native butterfly populations (and more). We would love to have you come out and join us!

Meet at the amphitheater. There will be two shifts that you can attend:

10am-1pm: Morning Shift (site prep, watering and planting)

1pm-4pm: Afternoon Shift (watering, planting, cleanup)

This is a family friendly event and all ages are welcome to weed, dig, plant and water with us. At the start of each shift there will be an instruction on native plants and why they are so important to our community.

Please bring your own gardening tools (or you can use ours). We will be providing water and healthy snacks (to reduce waste, please bring your own refillable water bottle).
